About Us
Thorney Farm Cottages are in the grounds of Gothic House. The original farm house was burned to the ground in 1850 and rebuilt in that year in the Victorian Gothic style making this building very unique in the area.
We have around 5 acres of garden and pasture and our views are of neighbouring fields and amazing sunsets. We keep a small selection of farm animals here.
The house is our family home so it's very relaxing and welcoming we are here should you need anything while you are staying with is.
The historical village of Muchelney is 1 mile away and has many sights such as it's famous Abbey and Priests House. The nearest town is Langport just under 3 miles away.
In the heart of the Somerset Levels you will find Thorney Farm Cottages is the perfect getaway with as much or as little to do as you want.
